Bison by Caris Fawcett

Bison by Caris Fawcett

$155.00$410.00

In Modern Huntsman Volume 14, we document the ongoing effort to restore wild bison on Sitkalidak Island. Led by the Alutiiq Tribe of Old Harbor, in partnership with the International Order of Theodore Roosevelt and the Cabela Family Foundation, the project blends scientific tracking, sustainable harvest, and community-led management.

When we learned about the remarkable work being done, we knew it was a story worth sharing. To honor that work, we commissioned an original painting by our Art Director, Caris Fawcett, which now appears on the cover of Volume 14. The piece is both a tribute and a reminder of what has been lost and what can still be reclaimed.

We are proud to offer a limited number of reproductions of Caris’ artwork for purchase as prints.
