The skill and ease with which the porters navigated the mountains, laden with supplies, left me with a deep respect for Nepalese. The people are soft and kind in nature, but hard as nails in life. In this image, one porter takes the first evening to weave a basket he will use to carry equipment up the mountain. Skills we have long lost in the western world.
