Rick White writes about wild places, tough people, and odysseys of all kinds. Since landing his first editorial internship at The Onion in 2006, his work has won national awards and been published in Lit Hub, The A.V. Club, High Desert Journal, Westword, Camas, Twelve Winters, and elsewhere. Rick earned his MFA in creative nonfiction in 2022 from the University of Montana. He shovels snow and chases grouse in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
