Their work centers around the representation of the American West in visual media and the performance of gender and masculinity in American cowboying. Their current projects involve documenting daily ranch work with photography and video, and using sculpture and textiles to examine the personal uniforms of American ranchers. They can also be found performing around the Southwest as Jack A. Lope — drag king extraordinaire, premier top hand, and the best cowboy America has ever seen.
