Jess’s childhood spent ranching in Montana, Northern California and Wyoming instilled in her a wanderlust for wide expanses of public land, and a deep appreciation for the wildlife that inhabit it. As the Projects Director and Legislative Lead for the Wyoming Wildlife Federation, Advisory Council member for Artemis, and a board member for 2% for Conservation and the Wyoming Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, much of her work has focused on open dialogue around hunting and angling in an effort to expand its voice in conservation.
